LiveTrafficCam is a directory of public traffic and road-condition cameras operated by government transportation agencies. We show 15,952 cameras from 11 sources. This total counts every active camera we track, including states whose coverage is still too small for their own pages, so it can run higher than the state total on the homepage. Every camera is attributed to the agency that runs it, and we only display an image on-site when that agency's feed is published for third-party use. Where it is not, we link to the official feed instead.

How we verify live cameras
We do not assume a camera is working just because an agency lists it. We check every feed ourselves, around the clock, working through the full camera list on a rotating schedule. Each check reads the image's last-updated time, and a camera is marked live only when its image is genuinely current; otherwise the page shows when the feed last answered and, if it stays down, marks it offline. The timestamps you see are real check results, never a fixed label.
Attribution & takedowns
Each camera credits its operating agency (for example, Camera: Caltrans). We honor agency conditions of use and do not rehost feeds that are not published for reuse. If you operate one of these cameras and want a listing changed or removed, contact us and we will act promptly.
